Updated Covid-19 Guidance and Safety Procedures
Governor DeWine rescinded the majority of Ohio’s Health Orders effective June 2, 2021 to conform with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) new COVID-19 guidance and safety procedures. Per Governor DeWine’s update on Ohio’s response to the pandemic, masks are no longer mandatory, but the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) encourages individuals to continue practicing safety measures like social distancing and masking. We encourage you to wear a facial covering into the building, but do not require it. Both Doctors and staff members while working closely with patients will continue to wear a mask for your safety, so feel free to wear a facial covering too. Handwashing is recommended and sanitizing products will be available to you upon arrival. Sanitizing stations are also available throughout the building. Routine disinfection of high-contact surfaces, the exam rooms and diagnostic testing room, and eyeglass frames before and after each patient will continue. As suggested by the CDC and ODH we will continue to practice social distancing whenever possible and encourage you to try and limit the number of people accompanying you to your appointment. You can still check in for your appointment by phone from your car. We want to do all that we can to ensure that our patients stay healthy and safe while providing you and your family the best eye care. Thank you for your cooperation.
